BLEED VALVE REPAIR KIT FOR CAST IRON RADIATORS 1/8″ BSP
Many older cast iron radiators have bleed valves set deep into the bleed bush, making them almost impossible to remove without risking further damage. This kit gives you a clean, reliable way to create a brand‑new bleed point — no specialist tools or expensive repairs needed.
What This Kit Does
Our Bleed Valve Repair Kit lets you drill and tap a fresh bleed point directly into the radiator body, bypassing the damaged original valve entirely. The whole repair typically takes around 20 minutes.
What’s Included
- HSS drill bit – for drilling a clean, accurate hole
- ⅛” BSP tap – to cut a fresh internal thread
- ⅛” BSP bleed valve – your new, fully functional bleed point
- PTFE tape – for sealing the threads (LSX sealant can also be used)
How It Works
- Drill a new hole using the supplied HSS drill bit.
